Creativity of Lesson Plan



One of the most interesting topic discuss for the pupils/students is having a creative lesson plan. Think what topic to be tackle inorder the pupils/students understand faster and the teacher can capture the attention of the learners. There are many possible ways to use, just like instructional materials, equipment, pictures and any other device. Creative lesson plan reflect teacher's ability and skills for the learners to understand faster. Teacher also make an objectives that the students relate the topic.

Preparing a creative lesson plan should follow certain prerequisites, these are: Adequate knowledge of the subject matter, knowing the nature of the learners, familiarity with a variety of teaching strategies and methods, materials and teaching aids and devices that will facilitate the teaching-learning process, through understanding of the objectives that relate to thrust of the Philippine Education. All of these are very important because it helps the learners become aggressive of their lesson.

Lesson Plan

          One of the most important things to be prepared in teaching is lesson plan. This is the blueprint of the teacher and also lesson plan is an indispensable tool to a teacher. Why is a lesson plan important in teaching?
        
          Lesson Plan is very important because this serves as a guide of a teacher to make their teaching strategy become successful. It is also a reminder to avoid waste of time. Lesson plan, prevents wandering away from the subject matter by making the teacher conscious of what they has accomplish for the day..

Unit Plan

As a teacher we need to have a unit plan because this serve as a basis for developing a set of related daily teaching plans and educational activities.

There are five(5) components of  unit plan that are going to apply. First, what are your objectives in making a unit plan. Next is content, it often includes the three categories: knowledge,skills, and values.Then skills, it consists of critical reading, skimming, and scanning. Learning activities, such as: field trips, debates, research, and experiments. And the last one is Resource materials.

Instructional Planning

               Planning is a process that begins with objectives and defines straategies, policies, and detailed plan to achieve the desired results. As a teacher, we need to have a guide in order to prepare and organize lessons, and this we call mapping. It identifies and details the content, concept, skills, and sometimes, values to be taught for the entire course. 

               There are some guidelines for mapping recomendations or course level of planning. Be sure you understand the rational of the course in the context of goals of the school. Clarify the focus of the course designed to stress subject matter, learner need, or social needs. Determine if there is special need for the course. And decide on important components so that they can be used as framework for your unit planning.

               One of the ability of the teacher is to visualize and forecast into of the what, why, and how the teaching learning process is instructional planning. This is also important in teaching, because it provides an overview of instruction by presenting of the lesson on that certain day.

Function of Teachings

          There are many things we have learned in functions of teaching. It consist of  principles, theories, and laws. One of these lessons, can touch my curiosity is in perennialism theory. One of these theory is: a preparation for life, which is contrary to Dewey's tenets and principles. He says Education is life, not a preparation for life. 

          I learned also that education is a social process. It is a part of  learning through other people's behavior. Learning is not just  only in school but in every aspect in our life.

Cognitive Learning

          When conscious judgment are being made within the it is describe as cognitive. We can say that cognitive learning is considered as critical thinking, because your brain is empty on that certain things but through cognitive learning you can think well, remember, and solve problems.

          Learning new information results in modification of long-term memory. The responsibility for engaging in learning, including control, direction and focus belongs to the learner. There are seven comprehension skills that learners can develop. These are: analysis, focusing and scanning, comparative analysis, narrowing,complex cognitive, sharpening, and tolerance. This comprehension skills may help us to increase our learning capacity.

Principles and Characteristics of Learning


We all know that learning is a lifetime process, through this principles we can learn a lot of knowledge especially in motivating ourselves and at the time to the students. There are two types of motivation: First, is extrinsic motivation that comes in the form of reward and punishment. The second one is intrinsic motivation which is creating a desire to learn an area of knowledge because it is worth knowing.
In characteristics of learning, there are five factors that contribute to learning. These are: Drive and Motivation, Positive transfer of learning, Usefulness of materials, the number of sense involved, and Feedback or knowledge of results. These factors teach us the significance of teaching strategy. It helps also to improve our performance as motivated person.
